Feminine nouns

The artwork Pink stories is dedicated to female issues, primarily the issue of female heritage. The artwork resulted from the experience of long-term cohabitation with other household members in a confined space during the pandemic, which consequently turned the spotlight on the unspoken patterns of behaviour and compromised the implied division of roles and tasks.

Not at our place

What was used as a storyboard is the artwork from the cycle PoVEZivanje (Interconnection) made in 2020 using acrylic paints and wool and thread on canvas. By adding sound and time to the painted and embroidered motifs, we have created a series of animated films. We present you pink stories in a transmedia form.

According to surveys in Europe and the United States, pink is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity and romance. A combination of pink and white is associated with chastity and innocence, whereas a combination of pink and black links to eroticism and seduction.
